Mark Nelson is Co-Founder and Partner of MANNA Capital Partners, and focuses primarily on acquisitions and strategic oversight of the company’s growing portfolio. Prior to MANNA, Mr Nelson was a Principal with NelsonHill Commercial Real Estate where he co-founded a niche brokerage firm in 2010 focusing on industrial and adaptive reuse properties in Chicago’s urban core. Mark and his brother Michael grew this company to a team of 12 specializing in commercial property sales and leasing ranging in product class from unimproved land, ground-up development of commercial and industrial buildings.
During his tenure with NelsonHill, Mark participated in over 550 transactions and over $1 billion in total deal value. During that time he also acquired and developed a portfolio of commercial properties totaling over 850,000 square feet and $45 million in value. Mark has in-depth experience in complex real estate transactions for investment-grade, income-producing assets. His hands-on approach coupled with a thorough understanding of banking and capital markets makes him an invaluable member of the MANNA leadership team.
