11,700 SF Two Tenant Redevelopment
2048 West Hubbard Street, Chicago, IL
In the summer of 2022, MANNA acquired this property through an off-market transaction. Located just one block from MANNA’s Machine Shop | North development at 2145 W. Grand Avenue, the site presented a strategic opportunity to offer a complementary building in close proximity. The 11,700-square-foot structure sits on an 18,048-square-foot lot—an increasingly rare infill opportunity in a high-barrier-to-entry submarket.
Following substantial renovations, MANNA secured a lease with Ziken Signage for half of the building, leaving approximately 6,000 square feet of newly improved, air-conditioned warehouse space currently available. Just south of this location, the Reinsdorf and Wirtz families—owners of the Chicago Bulls and Blackhawks—have announced The 1901 Project, a $7 billion mixed-use development centered around the United Center. This transformative project is expected to catalyze further investment and growth in the surrounding area.
The property benefits from excellent access to public transportation, including a CTA bus stop on Grand Avenue and the recently added Green Line station at Damen and Lake Street, as well as immediate connectivity to downtown Chicago.
